Youth Survival Training ages 6-18. set to take place November 27th - At Curtis park in Caldwell Idaho from 8:30am-12:30pm, Please make sure to include your email and participants first name and age in notes when buying the class thanks.
This training - available to youth ages 6 to 18 - focuses on basic skills. Each participant will learn basic shelter building, fire making, knots, trail marking, signaling, and cordage (rope) making as well as other skills. Much of the course focuses on making decisions, keeping calm, and finding solutions to the basics of survival. We work from the premise that if the participant is lost or injured in the outdoors they need to find solutions to these basic needs. Over 250 young people have participated in the course to date (9/2026) with amazing results.
The course is 4 hours long. Parents are not required to stay but are encouraged to participate in order to practice the skills at home. Each participant will go home with the beginnings of a survival kit as well as knowledge that can save their live in a wilderness emergency.
